What you see today—a thriving restaurant serving up bold, unforgettable flavors—started from the ground up in a small home kitchen, fueled by big dreams and the drive to create something truly special.
Our journey began with Typickle Pickles, a small-batch pickle company born out of a love for bold, creative flavors. Back then, we didn’t have much—just a home kitchen, a handful of recipes, and a determination to turn an idea into reality. The early days were far from easy. Balancing the demands of starting a business with the financial and personal challenges that come with it was a test of grit and resilience. From perfecting recipes late into the night to personally delivering jars to local markets and events, every step was a labor of love.
Little by little, our pickles gained a loyal following, and with that came the realization that our journey could expand far beyond jars. We saw an opportunity to bring our bold flavors to life in a whole new way—on a menu full of dishes inspired by the very pickles that started it all. And so, Typickle Grill was born.
The road to success wasn’t easy, especially in Midland, where the entrepreneurial landscape is competitive, and every business must fight to stand out. Our breakthrough came when we participated in the Midland Entrepreneurial Challenge, a competition designed to support and fund innovative local businesses. Through sheer determination, hard work, and the unwavering belief in our vision, we won the challenge, securing the support and funding necessary to turn Typickle Grill into reality. This victory was not just a financial boost but a testament to the community’s belief in our passion and dedication.
Through it all, we give thanks to Jesus Christ, who has guided us every step of the way. His grace, strength, and unwavering love have been the foundation of our perseverance, giving us the courage to keep moving forward even in the toughest times. We are truly blessed to have this opportunity, and we dedicate our success to Him.
From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a restaurant that’s more than just a place to eat—it’s a celebration of flavor, creativity, and hard work. Every item on our menu is crafted with the same care and passion that went into those first jars of pickles. Whether it’s our signature Typickle Jalapeño Popper Cheeseburger, the crispy, flavorful Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, or our one-of-a-kind Spicy Dill Pickle Rub Wings, we make everything from scratch, using only the best ingredients and our own house-made sauces, seasonings, and toppings.
